I DON'T KNOW FLOWERS, BUT...
Do lilacs lie a lot? Are daffodils daffy? I don't know flowers, But I sure do love taffy! |
ALONG THE WATER’S EDGE
We walked along the water’s edge Where naked toes made prints in sand It is our hope that they will be Cast like moulds against the vacant land But will they fit tomorrow These slippers made of sand “So sorry”, sings the giant sea “I waved them all away”. |
WHEN SILENCE CAPTURES NIGHT
When silence captures night and Daytime sets it free again We feel a great romance between the two Begin to grow and then Surrender brings us closer to the answers that We long for; opens up the way And lets the music Play forevermore |
HOLDING UP THE STARS
His job is holding up the stars But he doesn’t realize the job is very hard Looking up to see them as they go round and round He doesn’t realize what a talent he has found Since it doesn’t take much talent just standing in the yard He doesn’t know that it’s not very easy holding up the stars So he continues this hard job in your sky and in mine How amazing and very good of him To encounter such a find. YOUR DAWN
The bedroom was already dressed In sunshine when I opened my eyes The sweet smell of spring and green colors the best The song in my heart came as such a surprise Awakening me once more to the celebration of the day Bread to be broken, glasses to be tipped, sights to be seen Bring love to the world through serving each other Refresh, renew, revive inside and out; clean it up Have a feast of hope, and send all that is not wanted away Feel better; settle down; easy does it; half way home; Downhill Make it all worth it. Such bliss lies before you; hold it; enjoy it Have fun with each new start of life. No need to stray from love again. It’s your dawn your cup is running over God loves you |
